Rahu and Ketu as per astrological aspect.

Rahu and Ketu as per astrological point of view:-

As per Vedic astrology Rahu and Ketu is a shadow planet and their effects come sudden on each and every human person. In kalyug the power of Rahu , Ketu and Saturn is very high. Rahu always act like Saturn and Ketu always act like mars. These planets are known as shadow planets because they have no physical bodies. Rahu position of individual horoscope and Rahu placement in bad houses always  provided good results . But on other side the effect of Ketu in individual horoscope defined that power of spirituality. Ketu is moksha planet and in Ketu dasha person are isolated from that particular house where Ketu is placed and some they become sanyasi.  Even in Ketu mahadasha is not too long like mars dasha but Rahu dasha will long like Saturn mahadasha.

 The following points are taken into consideration while analysis the effects of Rahu and Ketu:-

1. Rahu and Ketu when posited in a house conjoined with a planet, will give the affect of the planet conjoined with and aspect by  a planet. Suppose Rahu and Saturn are conjoined then the power of Saturn will be double.

2. The placement of Rahu and Ketu in any houses and lord of these houses will also act like Rahu and Ketu . For example sun is the lord of a sign occupied by Rahu. Then sun will act as Rahu or Saturn and suppose it aspects 11^th house, then the effects will be loss of Income and disrepute. Similarly Ketu be analyzed.

3. But if these planets are placed in trikona houses 5^th or 9^th and is conjoined with lord of Kendra then it will bless with excellent results.

4. If these planets are placed in Kendra house and is conjoined with lord of Trikona it is considered as auspicious.

5. In case these planets are not conjoined with any planet, then they will give the effects of the lord of that house the are occupying and also take up the qualities of that house.

6. The houses 3^rd,6^th or 11^th are considered best houses for these shadow planets .

7. When Rahu is in third house and Ketu is in ninth house both are benefit.

8. when Rahu is in 6^th and Ketu will be in 12^th house then Ketu is malefic.

9. When Rahu is in 11^th house and Ketu will in 5^th house then Ketu will be evil for 5^th house.

10.In 7^th house Rahu will play role marka power.

11. Rahu in 2^nd house or 12^th house if found afflicted may cause loss of wealth during dasha or anter dasha.

12. Rahu in 8^th,3^rd and 6^th houses would increase courage and same effects for Ketu.

What is signification of Rahu:- Rahu is significant of harsh speech, movement , traveling, foreigners, paternal, grand father, gambling, out castes, reptiles, snakes, snakes bite, widows and relation with her,skin disease ,iches, eczema, acute, sharp pain in body, swelling in part in body.

What is signification of Ketu:- 

Ketu is kara for Maternal grandfather, consumption, pain ,fever, wound, witch craft, causing troubles to enemies, horned animals, philosophy, salvation.

When Rahu is conjoined with Saturn , the effects of Saturn will be doubled. It also confirms the supra rule that Rahu carries the effects of the planet with which it is conjoined.

Rahu always a retro grade planet when conjoined with another retrograde planet in dasa or bhukti, the events relates to the matters are returned, restored, regained or compensated for, such as restoration of lost property or getting compensation thereof. Two negatives joined together will give positive results.

When Rahu and mars are aspecting 2^nd house and its lord, the face of the native is paralyzed as both planets have qualities of turning the things out of shape, Rahu is a nervous planet standing for the nerves.
